1. Purpose
Santé-Connect is an online telehealth service. It serves health centres (patient records, consultations and prescriptions, pharmacy, cash and Mobile Money cash desk, inpatient care, activity reports), independent doctors (public profile, teleconsultation requests and follow-up, video call) and patients (personal medical record, teleconsultation requests). These terms govern its use.
The service is published by EasyGet-Services, SARL unipersonnelle, whose registered office is in Nyalla, Douala (Cameroon).
2. Accounts and access
- Professional accounts are reserved for the staff of health facilities and for doctors. An independent doctor is shown to patients only after the Santé-Connect team has verified their file (registration with the Medical Council, degree, identity document).
- A patient can open an account to keep their medical record and request a teleconsultation. They choose the professionals with whom they share their record.
- Each user has their own account; credentials are personal and must never be shared. Every action is recorded in the name of its author.
- The facility manages its staff’s access and appoints its administrators, who alone are authorised to carry out certain operations (cancelling a receipt, for example).
- If a password is lost or suspected of being compromised, the user changes it without delay; resetting it closes all open sessions.
3. Medical responsibility
Santé-Connect is a management and connection tool. It makes no diagnosis and replaces neither the judgement nor the responsibility of health professionals, who alone remain in charge of care decisions, prescriptions and dispensing. Alerts (allergies, low stock, expiry) are aids: they do not exempt anyone from the usual checks.
Teleconsultation is not suitable for emergencies. In an emergency, the patient calls the emergency services or goes without delay to a health centre.
4. Data
The health facility or the doctor remains the owner of the data they enter and responsible for its accuracy and lawfulness, in particular for informing patients. The processing of data is described in the privacy policy.
5. Prices and payment
- Health centres: a 14-day free trial gives access to all the modules, with no bank card. Access then continues according to the chosen offer: CSI Petit, 20,000 FCFA a month or 200,000 FCFA a year (5 accounts); CSI Moyen, 35,000 FCFA a month or 350,000 FCFA a year (15 accounts). Seven days after the end of the trial or of a period that is not renewed, the data can still be viewed and exported, but data entry is suspended.
- Independent doctors: the profile, the verification and receiving requests are free. Accepting a teleconsultation costs one credit: 1 credit for 3,000 FCFA, 2 credits for 5,000 FCFA, 5 credits for 10,000 FCFA. Credits do not expire, and a credit is returned if the patient cancels. A request received with no credit available is closed after 48 hours. The Doctor Pro offer, at 15,000 FCFA a month, allows teleconsultations to be accepted without limit during the paid month. It ends immediately, without refund, if the doctor’s verification is withdrawn or their account is suspended.
- Patients: the account is free. Teleconsultation fees are set by the doctor and paid directly to the doctor.
- Payments are made in CFA francs, by Mobile Money (MTN MoMo, Orange Money) or by bank card, through the payment providers Fapshi and Nyole. Nothing is taken automatically: each period, credit pack or Doctor Pro month is paid in advance and does not renew without a new payment.
- Termination: no notice period. Without a new payment, the subscription ends at the end of the paid period. The facility can then request the export of its data for 90 days.
6. Availability
The publisher uses reasonable means to ensure the availability and security of the service, without being able to guarantee uninterrupted availability. No availability rate is contractually guaranteed. Maintenance operations are announced in advance when possible. In a centre, offline mode allows data entry to continue during an Internet outage.
7. Prohibited uses
- Accessing or attempting to access the data of another facility or another account.
- Entering information unrelated to care or management activity.
- Presenting oneself as a doctor without being one, or providing false supporting documents.
- Disrupting the service or circumventing its security measures.
8. Governing law and contact
These terms are governed by Cameroonian law. Failing an amicable agreement, any dispute falls within the jurisdiction of the competent courts of Douala. Questions: contact@sante-connect.com.
